FAQs
1. What is LARTEDELSENTIRE?
LARTEDELSENTIRE is a living multisensory luxury house beginning with fragrance. We create olfactive works that unfold through scent, image, sound, touch, and movement, allowing perfume to be experienced not only as scent, but as memory, material, emotion, and presence.
2. What does “multisensory luxury house” mean?
It means fragrance is the first door, but not the only dimension. Each work begins with scent and continues through visual language, sound, tactile materials, and movement. These elements are not decorative additions; they are part of the house's creative method.
3. Is LARTEDELSENTIRE a perfume brand or an art brand?
We are a fragrance house first. Art, sound, touch, and movement do not replace the perfume; they deepen the way it is perceived, remembered, and carried by the body.
4. What does “Born in Grasse, inspired in Los Angeles” mean?
It reflects the dialogue at the center of the house: rooted in the discipline, materials, and heritage of perfumery, while open to contemporary art, image, body, space, and emotional experimentation.
5. Why do you call LARTEDELSENTIRE a “house”?
A house is an evolving architecture. It has entrances, rooms, thresholds, memory, and return. For LARTEDELSENTIRE, each fragrance belongs to a larger world rather than standing alone as an isolated product.
6. What does “living art” mean?
For us, fragrance is not static. It changes on skin, moves with the body, and continues through image, sound, touch, and personal memory. A perfume is worn, but it is also lived.
7. What are the five sensory dimensions of LARTEDELSENTIRE?
The five portals of perception are scent, hearing, vision, touch, and movement. Scent awakens. Sound creates resonance. Vision gives form to invisible states. Touch grounds the experience in material reality. Movement completes the perfume through the body.
8. How are your fragrances created?
Each fragrance is conceived as an olfactive work with its own emotional architecture, material structure, and place within a larger season. We work with selected natural materials and contemporary aroma molecules to create compositions with depth, clarity, and presence.
9. Are your perfumes natural?
Our perfumes may contain selected natural ingredients as well as contemporary aroma molecules. We do not define the house through a single label such as “all-natural.” The official ingredient list for each product appears on its packaging and product page.
10. Are your fragrances for men or women?
We do not lead with gender. We guide by atmosphere, texture, and emotional direction. Each person is invited to choose the work that resonates with their own skin, memory, and presence.
11. How long do the fragrances last?
Longevity depends on skin chemistry, climate, application, and wearing context. We recommend testing the fragrance on skin and allowing it to develop through its full drydown before making a final impression.
12. How should I test a LARTEDELSENTIRE fragrance?
Begin with a blotter to understand the opening. Then, if the fragrance speaks to you, test it on your skin. Allow time between the first spray and the drydown; the most intimate part of a fragrance often appears after it has settled.
13. How should I apply the perfume?
Apply to clean skin, ideally where the fragrance can warm naturally. Avoid rubbing the skin after spraying, as this can disrupt the composition's development. When applying near delicate fabrics, test carefully first.
14. Are LARTEDELSENTIRE fragrances suitable for sensitive skin?
Fragrance is personal, and skin sensitivity varies. Please review the ingredient list before use. Avoid contact with eyes; discontinue use if irritation occurs; keep out of reach of children.
15. What is an Opus?
An Opus is an olfactive work within the house. It is not simply a product name or number; it is a chapter inside a larger emotional and sensory architecture.
16. What is Season One?
Season One is titled Journey Through Liminality. It explores the threshold between an old order that has begun to fail and a new form that has not yet fully arrived. It is a passage through fracture, dark vitality, and becoming.
17. What does “liminality” mean?
Liminality is the charged threshold between forms. It is the space where identity, memory, and direction begin to loosen before a new inner structure can appear.
18. What is Act 1 — Fracture?
Act 1 is the first movement of Season One. Fracture is not simply damage; it is the moment when the old structure cracks, and what has been hidden begins to appear.
19. What is Act 2 — Reforge?
Reforge is not a return to the previous state. It is the formation of a new order while still carrying the memory of the fracture. It is the beginning of becoming again.
20. Which fragrance should I choose first?
Choose by atmosphere rather than by gender.
If you are drawn to green woods, incense, leather, and quiet spiritual strength, begin with Opus 2 — Time’s Ashes.
If you are drawn to white flowers, rose, resin, moonlight, and sensual brightness, begin with Opus 3 — Alchemy Keys.
If you are drawn to moss, vetiver, chypre shadow, animalic warmth, and deeper intimacy, begin with Opus 5 — Shadow Power.
21. What is Opus 2 — Time’s Ashes?
Opus 2 is the first crack of Season One. It is an aromatic, incense, leather, and woods composition inspired by a lone wanderer entering a green forest and rediscovering a sense of purpose. Notes include Guatemalan cardamom, carvi seeds, eucalyptus incense, violet flower, Italian leather, Australian sandalwood, palo santo, and musks.
22. What is Opus 3 — Alchemy Keys?
Opus 3 is a moonlit floral with resinous depth. It evokes a forbidden garden at night, where tuberose and Turkish rose bloom with vanilla, cinnamon, lemon bitterness, benzoin, and balsamic warmth. It is luminous, sensual, and quietly dangerous.
23. What is Opus 5 — Shadow Power?
Opus 5 is the dark core of Act 1. It is a spiced floral chypre with moss, vetiver, animalic warmth, tea-like petals, and a quiet sense of endurance. It speaks to the moment when unhealed wounds become the beginning of understanding.
24. Can I layer LARTEDELSENTIRE fragrances?
Each Opus is composed as a complete olfactive work. We recommend experiencing each fragrance on its own first, allowing its structure and drydown to unfold fully before exploring personal layering.
25. Why is packaging important to LARTEDELSENTIRE?
Touch begins before the first spray. Paper, glass, weight, texture, opening gesture, and surface all prepare the body to receive the fragrance. For us, packaging is not an afterthought; it is part of the sensory threshold.
26. What is GFS?
GFS is our UK paper partner. We collaborate with GFS because paper is part of the tactile language of LARTEDELSENTIRE. It is the first material encounter before the fragrance appears.
27. Is your packaging sustainable?
We care about material truth, restraint, and responsible choices. We only make specific environmental or certification claims when they are officially confirmed for a particular material, product, or packaging component.
28. What does “material truth” mean?
Material truth means that luxury must be felt in the reality of the object: the composition, the paper, the glass, the weight, the surface, the finish, and the silence between details. Nothing should feel arbitrary.
29. Where can I find the full ingredient list?
The official ingredient list appears on each product page and on the product packaging. Because compositions may be refined over time, the packaging ingredient list is the official reference for the item you receive.
30. Are LARTEDELSENTIRE fragrances therapeutic or wellness products?
No. LARTEDELSENTIRE creates artistic fragrances. Our language may refer to memory, emotion, transformation, or inner passage, but these are poetic and artistic expressions, not medical or therapeutic claims.
